This Fall we will be marking the 10th anniversary of the Virtual Center for Supernetworks, which was established at the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst on November 21, 2011. As the Founding Director of this Center, I have had the privilege to work with outstanding Center Associates, including graduate and undergraduate students, as well as faculty at universities on four different continents, and leaders in industry. In our 2011 Fall newsletter, The Supernetwork Sentinel, I reflect on some of the notable achievements of the past decade as we mark this milestone.
