The POMS (Production and Operations Management Society) Annual Conference takes place next week in Chicago, Illinois, April 20-23, 2012.
The theme of this year's conference is Socially Responsible Operations.

Also, my doctoral student, Amir H. Masoumi, will be taking part in the POMS Doctoral Student Colloquium and Zugang Liu will be taking part in the Emerging Scholars Program. Amir will also be at the mini-conference on Humanitarian Operations and Crisis Management next Thursday in Chicago.
